well I go out with all my friends with my Rx. as always and go racing in a spot we found. This brand new 2002 Celica gts wants some of the Rx. So I say fine by me. We line up and I lock my rear end up.... We take off I had him a car length off the line.... I slam second and jump another car by the end of the race i had at least 4 cars. All the guys that laughed when i told them that I had a 1.1 liter found a new respect for an Rx7. I love my first gen.

I have an 83 Rx7... GSl. It has the limited slip in it so if you drop the clutch one good time it locks it up. Makes a big difference when running.

You should have said 1.2L...thats closer...I know its like 1.89 or something, but just call it a 1.2L, it'll solve later confusion, lol. Nice kill though...

Um. Not to be picky, but I think its 1147 cc's, which is closer to 1.1 litres than 1.2. I know Mazda calls it the 12A, but they exaggerated a bit.... B)

ahhh, it is all clear to me now, I was thinking lock the rear as in line lock, on a fwd car, but now it makes sense, you know, the more I look at the 1st gens, the more I want one, just to play with (can you say, rallycross?) and to have somethign to beat the hell out of without worrying about

it is acually a 1.1 L. but on the the mods.... I have a racing beat header performance exhaust, Weber intake system with the weber side draft carb. and plugs and wires... and a short throw shifter. other than that... nothing. I am about to order my turbo set up for it and the introcooler and everything and NOS. so along and along it will run.
