dude the vette is not overrated.. for the money its fast as hell and handles great... my cousin has one and it flies. and the z06 runs a 12.6 1/4 stock. one of the problems is that no one who knows how to drive has one. like 80% are sold with auto's anyway

isnt it sad, how the nice cars like that are driven by middle aged women in a mid life crisis? Or some 40 some year old business man who wont take it over 70 on the freeway. I wish i had one, i would take it to the track every day

Nothing wrong with the Corvette. They're the only American car that embraced technology from the get-go. Fuel injection in the late '50's, independent rear suspension from '63 onward. The Z06 is a fine automobile, and I think its amazing that they do what they do with PUSHRODS, the only non-technologically advanced part of the car.

"American car" and "embrace technology" most definately do not belong in the same sentence. Had they really embraced technology the rotary vette would have gone beyond concept.

What they do with pushrods? I guess a 4000 horsepower pushrod engine is nothing compared to a rotory?
