A kills forum. How cool.

We have an event here (West Aust) that takes place over a weekend like a 'rally'. Some tricky open road navigation, some closed road speed work, some around the cones in a carpark stuff, xlent fun. One road nav section was about 70 kilometres of 'drivers road' (yall know this sorta road right? Sweeping fast corners, dips & crests) Flogging along in the ol' Cosmo nav & I come up on a Honda S2K & very sweet original GT350 Shelby having a duel. Both these guys are trying hard, Stang in front all over the road, Honda faster in the corners but without the power to pass on the straights. On a big open sweeper with clear vision we open up, swing out & pass the S2K (we're talking 180+ km/h & climbing), keep it nailed on the wrong side of the road (the correct side for you guys)

scoop up the suprised Stang, who did NOT see us coming, pull in. Long straight, whats THAT up ahead? It's one of my buddies in his WRX STi..........we just have to go say hello! Jap market speedo ends at 180 km/h, into 5th, stay flat till the 20B hits the rev limiter at 7000, fly past the WRX (my buddy said later he was flat@ 245 on the speedo) hold just under the limiter for a minute or two more then slow down...............both get out at the next checkpoint shaking & wet with sweat. Neither speak for a bit, then together 'HOW F#*KIN AWESOME WAS THAT.....'

Amen. We are but alterboys in the Church Of 20B...

Apologies for the novel!

Hey Robbomaz, a aussie man after my own heart. Our car club just recently had another cruise[well that's what we call before we get going anyhow!!] We all took off into the ranges behind Brisbane, not quite as fast terminal speeds as yours but shitloads of white knuckle car movements anyhow. Unfortunatly I now need another set of Yoko's for the rear!!

This man loves his 20B!

It was one of the more memorable moments of that event for me and navigator. There were a couple of others that weekend but they were during closed road one-car-at-a-time speed sections so weren't really 'kills'

Can't get 'em new Sonix, unless you feel like buying all the bits from Mazda spares! My 20B came out of a JC Cosmo front cut of unknown miles (instrument cluster was missing), is stock apart from big exhaust & aftermarket ECU. Boost upped to 12 psi on the standard terbs for 345 rwhp!
