On my way back I came to a light before the highway. There was a red mustang to my right and she looked like she was gonna race. So I decided to go for it when it turned green. However, as I pulled out, I noticed the mustang didn't follow... so I eased off the throttle and decided to cruise. But just as I shifted into second, I saw a pair of blue head lights come cutting through the traffic and come right beside me. He reved his engine and took off. I couldn't see through my tints and I thought it would be fun so it was about a half a second later that I floor my baby. Her tires screeched and threw me back in my seat (what a rush!!!). I hear the guy hit his throttle hard, but it was child's play. After all the fun and games I slow down and this guy decided to tail me like crazy. I swear he was so tight up my *** that his car was getting a boost from my rich exhaust fumes. So I just drove normally and let him pass me... As he passed me, I saw all the gauges he had in his car(it looked like he had his cabin lights on with all those gauges)...and then notice it was a CIVIC! GRR... made me waste all that gas racing a stupid civic... Oh well, thought I should just share my frustration....

I know not all are slow... actually, my roomate has a supercharged civic type-R that's very pretty fast... but I think either this guy didn't know how to drive or was a real ricer and just wanted to play with me...

I know exactly what you all mean and I know that there are some highly respectable Hondas out there but I leave for six months due to some *** hole who never learned his lesson from a previous war and I come back home to find that the rice population in my town has like tripled their numbers. Man they are reproducing way to fast and the city I live in is now being totally over run. You cant even go out to eat without three of them trying to race you because they got some new valve stem LED light's and an APC intake put on there car and want to see how much HP they are putting down. Then you try not to waste your gas so you just let them drive by but as soon as you do that their ricer buddy that is right behind him passes you too and puts his hazards on you. I just want to race them all for slips take there freaking car and sell it for scrap mettle and buy more parts for my car.

Hey now, not all Civic drivers are ricers. In fact the good majority of civic owners married couples and single people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, who appreciate the Civic for its good gas mileage and reliable, quality ride. My next door neighbor in fact just bought a Civic because she liked its mileage, knew it wouldnt break down, and because it was a nice cheap economy car. I don't think she would appreciate your blanket accusations of all Civic drivers being ricers.

If you would read my post then you would see the part where it tells you ("I know that there are some highly respectable Hondas out there") and not to mention I am in no way trying to say that all Honda drivers are ricer's so I did not mean to offend you the only ones who should be offended are those that have a crappie little fart tip, a high flow APC high HP air intake and some LED valve stem lights that give them like 1K hp, and they believe that it does because the box told them that it does.... And yes I respect Honda because I am not Ignorant towards any make or model vehicle. And from what I can tell Honda has some very impressive technology and yes they are reliable. know ask yourself if you feel offended by my post and if you are I am still not sorry because I know that I cannot please the world....



Ps. some very good friends off mine that I go out and race with drive Hondas and I back them up 100%
