This happened last year on a very nice stretch of 2 lane highway on my way to work summer last year.

I'm at the stop light waiting for the green when i spot this white Porsche. Never in a million years do i think hes gonna run with me so I dont bother doing anything. Plus knowing full well my clutch is done I'm not looking for anything...Guess what? light goes green. He guns it a bit so reflexes kicked in and i pull up to his door...were just entering the nice part of the road and were dead even not really going at it just reving at about 4k in 1st...so i go, i knew it, this doctor is not racing me so i shift to second and just as i do he goes! ****, now i'm playing catch up. I mashed the gas pedal and get the ususal few seconds of lag....so I'm watching this guy pulll 3 cars on me. Boost comes on and i start reeling him in...by the time i shift to 3rd my bumper is rignt on his rear bumper and I see him back off just as i fly by going about 110 so i try to line up again so we carn do this right but it was a no go. We ran out of road and had to kill it.

Needless to say I was left with a bitter taste cause i knew I had him and he probably thought he beat me cuase i let him go first...I kept hoping to run into him again but hasnt happened yet.



I have had a few more runs at 911s since then but my clutch got worse and had to let other FDs had the fun and just feel lucky if I could keep up.
