Well i'm out at the local street scene and this guy in a audi S4 starts talking up about how his car is the ****. And he's glad to see another car that could " keep up with him " So every one starts to gather thinking we are goin to go at it. Well they were right i wanted to show him i'm not just some car that can " keep up with him ". So i name the place and we go, it's a perfect track but the cops come after 1 or 2 runs so we were just goin for it once. We both lined up and one of my buds did the honers. His hands droped and i let it out at 5500 RPM got a little wheel hop and i was off. This S4 which by the way i hear is AWD, gets left behind. i'd say by the top of 2'nd i'm 5 cars on him. he doesent even cross the line till i turn around. He said he let off at 85 mph and knew it was over. I dont think his S4 can " keep up "

 

Sweet, nice run. I thought your father was taking your 7 away from you? Looks like you were able to hang on to here . What's the deal with the rims and tires man? Be very careful driving aggressively with those H rated tires--I'd hate to see you wreck your FD.....

 

Nice kill. Was it really AWD...? They launch pretty hard and you cant really beat em off the line, usually gotta play catch up... I dont know squat about audi. Anyways, nice kill!

 

Yeah that's what me and all my friends thought, that the AWD would eat me off the line but he didnt. i think they a Twin Turbo V6 V-Tecs with AWD, that's what i heard. But they weight like 4200 lbs. Yea i know about the tires i'm getting new ones soon.

 

The S4's are out dated. Cool for their time but couldn't keep up with an Rx-7. THey are only rated at 250Hp stock and weight 3700lbs. Hell...A new 350Z could kick its ***. They have a Bi-Turbo 2.7 litre engine with AWD. Not much output froma twin turbo.





But beware.....They are bringing the name back in 2004. New 3.0 litre engine that will be pushing at least 350hp from what I heard. It will be a much needed edition to the Audi line-up.

 

S4s kick ***! They just need to be tuned.



Did you all ever see that clip from the Gumball Rally where the S4 spanked a Z06? The S4 had 2 or 3 people in it and it pulled like 5 cars on it!

I just looked it up. Damnit I was so wrong about the engine. 4.2 Litre V8. But at 45K I think I would buy the M3 instead

 

But the M3 isn't a sedan...that's the beauty of the S4.

The RS6 would be a sweet car if it wasn't ONLY tiptronic! That's crap!

 

I dont think you can call an S4 a sedan. It is small as hell inside. We almost bought one but didnt because it was too small.
