Well, some of you may have read the post where I was talking about putting the nitrous on my buddy's Mr2...well the day before I had to go to jail, he wanted to go race up in one of the bigger cities around here(funny...isn't racing what I was going to jail for? somethings never change...)...well anyways, we drove around for about 2 hours, got something to eat...there was NOBODY out wanting to run..well as we were leaving, this '00+ or so Focus Zx3 or something like that was weaving in and out of traffic...we pull up to him at about 30/35MPH...he looked over and gunned it...pulled like 2 car lengths on us(MR2s are slow w/out boost of some sort)...well his girlfriend was sitting in the passenger seat laughing...so we had to redeem the car, lol...we caught up to him at a few lights down...my buddy armed the switch and let it roll...1st gear about dead even, 2nd gear pulled ahead, 3rd gear...about two car lengths ahead. Well, I'm not sure about the 5SFE motor holding up to the 150 shot in my buddy's MR2...we put a 75 shot in it and started to bog a little...not enough fuel...we said "what the hell" and put the 150 shot in it(we're planning on rebuilding the motor next month anyways..its our other team car)...well, we shot the 150 to it, the car jumped forward a little, backfired and then shut off, lol....he is ordered the S-AFC today to help control the fuel, and we'll probably get the 75 shot in safely for the next few weeks...we're going to the track this thursday(only 1/8 mile though)...we'll let you know how it turned out, lol.

Those cars are pretty good. There are some cool British cars that we don't get to see, but I don't know about the quality.

they have more people and apparently dave learned how to tune. cars don't seem to blowup on the dyno anymore.

ErnieT said that the problem with his motor was the PFC...who knows. If they're doing well now, then good. It's better for all of us to have more people with good running RX-7's.
