So i was cruising around just enjoying the nice day and i pull up to a red light. All of the suddent i hear a loud as sin first gen that had to be running just a header. He pulls up and revv's a little. I follow with a red line. Light turns green i drop the clutch at 4500 or so and take off. By the time i get out of first he is already in third and the little first gen is screaming. I hit second and i had about 4 car lengths on him and then i hit third and hit 60 MPH and i was done. It sure is nice having something this fast and this is defiantly fast compared to my 99 explorer that i used to drive. It was a good first kill and i loved the wait for green. Kept my heart pounding for at least 2 minutes after that.

 

even stock to stock he wouldnt stand a chance. besides it was prob. a beat car too. but i guess a kill is a kill even if it aint a fair fight. can you say ricer?

 

Did you guys stop and talk afterwards. That's the only reason I race other 7's. Most of them are too young to realize I don't want to race, I just want to talk.

 

He was a young 16 year old that was borrowing a parents car. I seen him a few days ago and talked for a little bit. Oh and his car was not a beater. IT WAS MINT! looked to be freshly painted and all factory other than that little 12a that was in fact running a headder. He did not know much but it is quick for a first gen. I guess he just seen that i was driving an RX and said might as well have some fun. Oh and i would not even try to put me into the catagory of a "ricer". I am not the ******* that drives around in a peice of crap car with a 4 1/2 inch can off the back as a muffler. I am anything but that. My car is stock and it is clean if you have even seen it. I am also not the jerkass with some dumb *** drift body kit that you see on e-bay. If you think i am a ricer for driving around and having fun on a nice day your wrong. I am like any other driver that has some what of a faster car than the other driver on the road.

WHOA DUDE, I ment the 1st gen that got smoked not you. you said it was load and sounded like it only had a header thats a ricer to me. besides you never in the first post say the car was mint. my bust if i wasnt clear.

 

ricers don't drive 1st gens...

 

headers dont make a race car to me. and i'm a first gen driver and if i were only running a header than i wouldn't pose like that. blow a seal or something just to make some noise, I guess ricer means different thing around the world.

 

i think i mis read your post. That is a sorry to you on my part. Now if he was driving a civic with a header then he would be a ricer around here.
