It was a cold winter night and i was driving home from work in my friends cavalier, now picture this a 3.1 v6 cavalier that sounds like a fuggin v8 the exhaust system on this car is so deep and throaty, now i was sitting at a stoplight just waiting for the light to change and what unpleasent sound do i hear?? a fart pipe of course, look over to the left and see a pearl white civic si with all the normal "performance" mods on a honda, he revved on me and i ignored him but i knew he would go when the light changed so i dropped the AUTO into neutral and rolled back a bit, dropped it into 1st and ******* stomped it that little **** never knew what hit him, i hit 2nd and just let it redline kicked it into drive and kept going,i looked in my mirror and the fart can civic was easily 6 car lengths behind me i was so surprised that this almost stock (k&n drop in and muffler/tips) old *** z24 was able to murder this civic... i really dont think he was too happy since he stayed way back at the next light....

it wasnt an rx7 kill but it was fun *** hell anyways!

I beat one of the newer Z24s with my sister's 2.1L Prelude...are they slower than the old ones? I think an SI would have beaten her Prelude.

I am sitting at a light watching a Accord w/ fart pipe and a Sunfire with Fart pipe and wing revving at each other. I was next to both of them in my 2002 Dodge Dakota (4.7 litre v-8) light turns greeen and I toast both of their asses by many many cars.

I beat a V6 Z24 with my stock '86 Jetta GLI. And that was no speed demon (corners yes, straight line no). So I can only imagine the slowness of this civic.

It's only a '90...I don't think it's very fast, but I'm biased.

Was the civic even on it.. because the Si would've beaten you. Those Cavi's are slow... maybe he felt he was wasting his time on you? Oh And the non vtec prelude are indeed slower than the si.
