Ok I just finished picking my girl up from Mid Rivers and am heading down Mid Rivers Mall drive. I roll up to a red light getting ready to get on the highway. Well a Maroonish Eclipse Rolls up. Gauges Turbo style wheels loud exhaust but not too ricey. I give the car a look over to see if it is a turbo or not. Well the light turns green I dont think he is going to race so I take off softly and he nails it so I do also but bog some and just run beside him. Well I get over 3 grand and begin pulling hard on him. I hear him slam into 2nd and get a decent scratch then I slam into 2nd and pull away more. now close to 3 car lengths. Well I finally shut down due to traffic and he does the obvious ricer flyby.





It ended up being an RS 2.4 5 spd with some mods.



Damn I need to get my exhaust fixed that bog is starting to **** me off and could cost me a race if I launch under 3k..... Which I usually do so I dont get nothing but smoke. 2500 launch and flooring it results in nothing but tire spin so I have to watch my launches. But right now she bogs if she is under 3k... lol makes it pretty easy to drive around town. Funny thing is with the exhaust leaking like it is she pulls hard in the upper RPM band. Which means if I keep this bitch she is getting some **** done!

 

I wish I had a remote control spike strip for those ******* flybyes...lol

 

I like the old 5.0 mustang, LX Hatchback at least, those things are fairly fast right from the factory, I was thinking, and realized it would cost quite a bit of money just to get my car to run what yours does stock (14's) good thing for me the world is not a straight line

 

hahaha if I get my little 2.3 going as a turbo model which would not cost much actually... just a lot of junkyard parts then you would have a 14 second car that could handle and corner damn well too!!!

yeah I run 14's but honestly 14's are boring.... I want 12's... but of course I want a lot of things like my Cordia running.... and I want my 2.3 a Turbo 5 spd car. lol



The Mustang cobras can actually handle pretty well now but I do not believe they are up RX7 specs yet.

Yeah I hate those damn flyby's though.

I still do not understand what the **** they are thinking especially when someone else is in the car and know they are giving it their all and the other person keeps pulling away then you see the other persons brakes lights and flyby????? lol it doesnt even seem like you won!
