86 N/a Vs '00 Si

last night i was coming home from work on a local 2 lane highway when i came up on what apeared to be one of 1000 electron blue civic Si's with white wheels, and altezza style tailights around my town. So i got up on its ***, finally the car in front of him turned off, there was a 1/4 passing zone about half mile down the road, we were crusin at 50, i put on my turn signal and got in the passing lane to try to get beside him for an even race when he down shifted twice and i was now approx 6 cars lengths behind him, so im thinking ok? so i put it down into thrid gear and smash it to get beside him, and i reach him to get even with him, while he still had the pedal to the floor, i stayed beside him for a second , and then smashed it again, and left him like 5 lengths behind before i shifted into 4th and look in the rear view to see him flick his lights at me and high beam me, and then he turned off the next road.... i dont usually like racing honda's anymore because its not that fun.. but enough is enough.. sometimes u have to show them whats up..

The new SI's are no fun. I wasn't really racing one, but just stuck to his bumper as he tried to run away, I was in top of 3rd when he went to 5th, still on it strong. I shut down, but could have just went to 4th and passed him (maybe even been able to pass in 4th)
