Coming out from City place my friend in his 8 and me in the 740, out from the corner he burned me simply said. We come up to the Red, its really funny b/c we always seem to get the first red light, anyways we go for it I have to stop b/c some guy makes a crazy left turn which happened before that one night with the FD, well we get to another light, off line I leave him I shut down (another light) around 7-12 secs into it. This time I leave him off the line agian I beat him through 2nd (his car) then he shifts into third and leaves me by a car and half and then I shut down b/c theres another light. What I gather from this expreience is that (1)his launching ability diminshed,(2) alot of wheel spin, but when he did leave me going into 3rd he didnt pull as much as I thought he would. da 740 is kinda quick for a huge car. I did however put the 280 hp BMW monster into sports gear which really made a difference. Well okay that was my night, I saw that movie Day after tomarrow, its really long and not as action I thought it would be, go to it to kill time. Well I'm out. Oh and the guys car is being Car Maxed so I got some nice pictures to post.
