So I had just got done beating the RX-8 in the other thread I posted, and I guess some kid in a white eclipse gsx saw us racing and decided to mess with me. He had his girlfriend in the car. It was a very nice looking car, 17's, saw what looked like Apexi N1 comin out the back, saw a S-AFC mounted on his dash. So I figured he had some money into it. He rolled down the window and I told him i liked his car, it was a very friendly chat. We ended up at the stoplight where I raced the RX-8 goin the other way. Light turned and we both got on it, he killed me off the line with the AWD (I could hear him at like 5K before the launch) , but wasn't able to get more than a car ahead, by second I had passed him, I layed down a little rubber in second and boosted away no problem. Race was only up to about 60, but ended with me about 2 cars in front. We stopped and he asked me how much boost I was running, told him stock close to 9, he looked surprised and goes "damn, that thing is fast as hell, I'm running 14lbs." Surprised the hell out of me, as well as him and his girlfriend. Good race though, and very nice guy.

Yeah I own a S5 Turbo II. Listed my mods in the RX-8 thread, but pretty much stock right now. I have a Apexi TC BOV, HKS intake, and a HKS turbo Timer. Plans for the next month or so are a Greddy FMIC, a Koyo Rad., a black magic E-fan, and APexi Dual N1 catback. Over the winter It will be stored and I'll be upgrading my fuel pump and injectors, getting a AVC-R and S-AFC, FCD, 3" RB downpipe, and porting the wastegate on my turbo along with upgrading my ignition. (thats what I hope to accomplish by spring as long as I dont go blow all my money away on **** at college I'll be able to make it happen.) I'll probably run on that setup for awhile and eventually I'll break down and get a HAltech system.

 

Sweet Kill NOW that impreses me i like the sound of an FC doin some kills around here as a matter of fact i have an article out of honda tuning that i am going to see if i can get a good picture of i'd like for you guyz to see it. and i'll have to see your RX-8 topic real quick because a pretty much stock t2 beating an RX-8 would make my summer
