Well, I was already in here replying to a post, so I figured I'd tell ya' what I saw on my way home from work tonight. BTW, this is in Ricertown. First off, there is 1 1st Gen. that's always runnin'. 1 FC and 3 FD's as well. The 1st Gen. I always see is grey. Now to the story....I'm cruisin' along in my loud azz mini (cause the 7 now belongs to the Pengaru Rotary Foundation) and I stop @ a light and I'm sittin' about 5 cars back. I look over to my left (this is a 7 lane) and there's a green 68' Camaro revvin' his engine. I knew it was a 68' cause it had the oval-shaped ambers in the grille. Well, I couldn't see, or hear for that matter, what was next to him. I don't know what trim package the bowtie was, so I couldn't tell ya' what engine he had...all I know is that it was a loud V-8. They go before me cause I'm in the turn lane. I heard tires chirping, but not really the 'spinning' sound. I see him launch and as soon as he gets off, I see a blue 1st gen. pull on him. I couldn't even hear the thing!! I just watched him wizz by the Camaro and left every 1 else sittin'. This is the first time I've seen this car around here, and boy did it impress me! Where was all the torque every 1's afraid of? I'm always hearing how the monster V-8 pulled on some 1 and the they caught up to em' in third. Not so here. This 7 took him the whole way. I woulda' never thought....
