goin down 27 i saw a new blue z06 in the far left turning lane so i slowed a bit to see inside, it was a young kid about me age (19 or so)

anyway further down the road i notice his headlights in my rear view, he wanted to play. we got to an open streach and both slowed to around 30 or 40 in high 2nd gear i yelled 3 honks, i honked he got a bit of a jump cause i was thinking a bit too hard about the three honk thing haha. anyway i was about half a car ahead by the end of second and i took about 3 or 4 car lengths ahead by third. it felt so good hearing the rumble of a muscle car fade behind me. anyway we pulled up next to eachother to talk a bit at the next light. its an 03 still stock he was lookin at rx7's but they werent reliable enough (or expensive enough im assuming) i gave him another shot 2nd gear rolling start again but i got a little cocky and gave him a head start. i start caching up but b4 i can make it outta 2nd i suddenly felt sluggish and heard a boost leak the pfc was reading .36 boost instead of .95 so i told him i blew a clamp and we went our seperate ways. either way some broken hose is def worth spanking a brand new z06 rich kid. but he was cool not cocky at all. oh yea if anyone in the NY/NJ area wants to sell me the intercooler intake side piping thats near the main drive belt i could use a replacement
