i know a guy with a nice mark 2 and hes moving to okinawa pretty soon. im not sure if he has his car modded at all engine-wise (im pretty sure he does) and i told him i could find him a few 7s to race once he gets there (you guys) and he said hed like to race you guys if your up to it. hes also thinking about upping the horsepower to 7-800 whp, but hes not sure cause the car is his daily driver.

So, where is this mark 2? Already in Japan or in the U.S.? When you say "mark 2", what do you mean? A mark 2 Golf, Supra, Celica, or what? Did he actually say 700~800 but was unsure about daily drivability? I say the guy is a dumbass. He might have a fast car, but he doesn't know jack as of yet. But this is just by going with what you wrote.

He'll have to keep up with the 700 rwhp Pissed off Yellow FD and the 700 rwhp Beau powered FC...

One last thing though, I'm still debating if I want to do some engine work before I leave to go there. If I go ahead with the project, it will be around 7 or 800hp, so I'm not sure if I want to do it. It won't be that much of an everyday driver anymore. Now it is perfect. We'll see

is what he said. the car is called a mark 2. it has a 2jz in it...

If its in the states and already has mods... he's going to have a tough time getting it into japan.. that importing pain in the *** works both ways. Its not that bad in japan.. but he has the whole language thing to contend with. And contrary to rumors.. there are emission laws there.

Oh..and im sure he'll have fun looking at the *** ends of a lot of RX-7 while he's over there..
