Ummm.. somebody needs to go to the Post office and ask about "OVERSIZED" packages because Sean (kuku STEC) shipped a bucket to Hawaii before he left Okinawa.

I either need Sean to mail me the parts he can and refund me the difference. Or refund me the entire cost and try selling the parts there to get his money back.

Either way as of now, He owes me parts or $200.

It's just the rear bins. I dont see why it would cost that much. They are only about 20"x 20"x 48"

once you pack it in a box so that it doesn't get distroyed during shipping the box gets pretty damn big.. so lets say he packs it in a box and allows for 3"s of clearance on all sides.. we get 48 in + 3 +3 = 54 inches for the length then take your 20" add the 3 inches to each side for packing and you get 26" and take that times 4 for the distance around the box and you get 104 inches now add that to the 54 and you have a total of 158 wich is over the maximum 130 allowed.

now if he just slaps a label on it and doesn't even put it in a box you still have 20" x 20" and that comes out to 80" distance around the package + 48" long = 128 inches.. this is only 2 inches from the maximum of 130...

This is strait from :

http://postcalc.usps.gov/MailpieceDimensio...versizedpackage

Very Large Package

Use for packages when the length of the longest side plus the distance around the thickest part is more than 108 inches and less than or equal to 130 inches. Items over 130 inches are not mailable.

this is why us people in Japan can't just pick up and mail bumpers and aero kits and big crap like that threw the mail even though we are asked every day to do so.
