I have seen a couple of pics where the rotor housings have 3 spark plugs. Two for trailing and one for leading. The picture I saw was from a japanese engine builder. I think the Mazda Factory race deparment has this rotor housings. Anybody know?

I beleve Scoot Racing started doing this a few years ago, and it was the thing for a while, but it's pretty much died off now.. It supposedly made a little bit of a hp diffrence and a much cleaner burn, but the cost involved is way greater than the benifits you get... Ie. all the machine work and the ignition system mods you have to do and plugging that water jacket...

I built my Mazda Rx3-Sp with that challenge in mind. The Rx3 is very light weight and i want the title of the fastest N/A in the planet. Right know the fastest N/A is a car running 8.55@152mph. After I try to break that title ill be looking to turbo charge and looking for some big horse power numbers and times @ the drag strip.
