your goal now technics is to not bump into anything once you get your car back. Once i got my car back from the paint shop my muffler fell off messing up my bumber, then when that got fixed i got hit by a uhaul. But now everythings cool. I can't wait to see this car when its done. It looks goooooood.

 

i will cut every extremity off my body if i crash when i get my car back...and then before i die ill start eating whatever i cut off.

Whats the reason for leaving areas like the petrol cap red?

the petrol cap is not on the car, its in primer sitting in the car right now.



The petrol area requires no primer, its pretty much in factory new condition, as was the door jambs and the areas that are normaly covered by by the rear bumper and other body parts.



Not pictured are all the little parts for the car, the gas cap, side skirts, rear bumper, mirrors, hood scoop, body side moldings, etc..

 

I see, so it's basically becuase there's no need for primer.

engine bay is now painted black, ill do some very slight touch up where I couldnt squeeze the gun into without messing up the paint around it, funny because the spots only showed up when I took a pic with the camera at waist level or so.



Moral of the story- you should remove the brake booster because when you factor in the wiring harness they block too much, even with spraying upside down and turning the fan all the way down to a stream its very hard to get paint in there.



The other red in the frame rails will never be seen, also kind of hard to shoot paint into a tiny slit in the frame rail, only time its visable anyways is when the bumper is off the car.
