being able to stand up straight would help things along

car and parts are all sanded ready for painting, pictures really dont look any different then the primer shots, will take some pics of it masked and during the paint process though.

some loose parts upstairs where its safe

bumper primed, kind of looks the same as the grey gel it came in though

ok, here are some pics of the parts painted hanging in the booth, also some pics of the FC2000 bumper with the lights fitted to them, I removed the lights to paint the projector area black, wipers painted, side markers tinted, etc..

now the car itself will be painted- which is easier then the damm parts, car will be wet sanded and polished and the parts are already ready for immediate assembly.

the lights being figured out has lifted a big weight from my shoulders, there is no write up on how to mount them and most people mounted them to the car itself which leaves a gap in the bumper, I figured let me wrestle the damm things and get it figured out. Looking at the pics it might seem simple, granted its not rocket science, but it does take some measuring, a tight fitting angle drill and some thinking to get the bolts to fit between the lights and the bumper, also my wire and plier trick to get bolts to fit in the holes

The bolts are just hanging on the lights so they had a tendency to flop around a bit, final installation will be nice and tight

this shows how much I removed to allow for clearance of the lights and so that the bulbs can be reached for replacement later on

one side of the lights mounted

other side

light mounted in the bumper, projector area not painted black yet

on the car, the flash even made it look like the light was on!

once again, projector area not painted black yet and obviously no plexiglass covers on

lights out once again and the projector area painted black, this will look sharp once the lights are back in and the plexiglass covers are installed, the covers will have a 1/2 black border on them from the INSIDE with black windshield/plexiglass paint, on the outside it will appear as shiny black paint.

side markers and 3rd brake light got the tinting process done to them as well

all 3 wiper arms got a fresh coat of black Imron on them as well
