I've considered getting a vented hood, but everyone that I've seen has wavy lines that ruins the way light plays over the factory hood. Oh well...

Knightsports cf hood on black FD...I've since re-clearcoated the hood, adding a bit of black to the clear. At sharp angles, it looks like a black painted hood. Get up close however, and it instantly turns to carbon. Best of both worlds! The black also gave the carbon a "bronze" look which matches the rims perfectly. Hood is from RotaryExtreme.com

The reason the RE-Amemiya AD9 hood takes so long to order is due to the

amount of hoods put out each month. I remember telling this somewhere, but

I might as well do it here again. I had talked to RE-Amemiya about the hood

situation because I was due to buy one. The have only I think it was 10 a month

being made, along with a waiting list. SOOOOO depending on who you are, and

where you are, and when you order or ordered it will be the out come of your hood.



I asked them if I wanted a hood ASAP, they said the best they could do for me is

3 weeks.
