I need new seats in my vert and was going to go to the junkyard to get something decent. Has anyone ever put BMW Z3 seats in a convertible? If you havent do you know if they will fit? Thanks a lot.

ive never seen it. i bet they would fit the fc has a lot of room. you should measure the stock seats up before you go

you can get new skins and get your seats redone for about $1000 with

someone doing it for you. Are Z3 seats going to be $1000 from a junkyard?

 

I will definetly measure it up before I go. I think they will fit too. I just hope that the junkyard doesnt charge too much for them.

 

uh... look for some new skins.. I know of at least one internet retailer that will do custom leather, vinyl or suede covers, with installation kits and instructions, custom fit for your car.. i was looking into that for my old S13 240SX, I remember it came to about $500 for the front buckets and rear bench for leather seat covers with suede inserts.

I would do that but I dont even like the stock seats that much. Besides I have a whole new stereo and dont use the headrest speakers anymore. I want something more comfortable and better suited for longer trips. The stock seats kill my back on rides over 3 hours.
