99 front lip is quite a bit bigger than R1, try that.

 

Ok I have a white 93 and it looked way to "Miataish " without a wing. Some colors look better without a wing but with white it looses some of the cars lines .I did install a 99 and love it for many reasons . First its functional , my back end sticks like glue once you hit 100, as for 145 your nuts ...I hope your going that fast on a track.I also added a 99 front lipp and its also very effictive at high speeds. With the two on ,once I go over 80 the car just keeps sticking better and better .The only bad side I can come up with is on long trips at speed its like having a extra 100 pounds on the rear end .My stock springs hate me .......
