Thumbs up

I am thinking I better go ahead and tint my windshield visor, so I have a couple questions. First, how do I get the mirror off the glass? Second, is it best to lay the tint out on the outside of the windshield, cut it, then expose the adhesive and apply to the inside of the vehicle? Or is there a better way to do it? Any tips? Is it totally worthless to try this myself as opposed to getting it professionally done?

are you using regular tint??

the mirror(if I remember correctly), has a small hole that you jam a lttle screwdriver into to push the release, then the mirror slides off. If you are using regular tint you should cut and trace on the outside, then use alot of soapy water in a spray bottle. spray it on the tint and winshield, this will make it easy to slide the tint around into place. then use a creditcard, or small squeegee to push out all the air bubbles.

I hate tint, after 10+ years of ******* with that crap, I just pay to have it done.
