ok i have a 10" sub in a enclosure sitting in my room right now but i dont have an amp. How bad would it sound if i just spliced some wires and ran it that way for a little while? and whre do the wires run so i can do this?
It would sound pretty bad if you could even power it enough with your head unit and no amp.... It's really not worth it. The sub is designed for low frequencies, not full range and the head unit just doesn't have the power you need. To wire it, you'd have to tap into one of the speakers in series I guess (parallel wiring would definitely fry the head unit's puny internal amp) which would give you even less power than just disconnecting a rear speaker and using that channel for the sub.

Trust me, its not even worth your time.

I don't know how much you want to spend but here is a decent 4 channel amp for $200:

Here is one with some more power:

If you get a 4 channel with built in crossovers, you can run your single sub off of 2 channels bridged and up to 4 speakers for the highs off the other 2 channels. Alpine amps have never let me down...
