Where is a good place to get finer grit sandpaper? I can't find anything higher than 400.

An auto paint shop is a good place. That's where I got mine.

maybe im not as picky as you guys..... but i dont see much of a difference between the clearcoated and just polished stuff. but i guess the main downside is the yellowing and hazing right

I cleared a few parts on my car for comparison with the polished pieces. Mine hazed and I didn't like it, so I left the other pieces uncoated. Course that sucks cause now it's a PITA to maintain.



Probably won't do another polished bay after this one.

looks good Jio,

glad you decided not to clear coat them, i made that mistake a few years back... looked like crap before too long. After that... i just chromed all of it!

cone sanding bits with dremel and patience...

let the dremel do the work for ya... without pressin hard..

couldnt find anythin over 400g for em so i resorted to folded sandpapers above 400
