the front clip on my car is gonna need painting after the tube chassis is finished and the new fenders are installed. Also i'm installing a CF rear hatch and rear fender flares so the rear is gonna need painting too, so i'm gonna be repainting the entire car anyway. The interior is flat black already... so no usual color change hassles when it comes time for that.

I'm considering changing the color of the car while i'm at it.. Anyone have any serious ideas on paint colors for me to change to? Or should i stick with the grey that is on it?

and yes, i'm painting the CF stuff.

*edit* due to the stupid comments that i'm sure will be posted soon.. can a Mod move this to 3rd gen or Exterior forum for me?

My vote wou be for a medium/light silver (somewhere between silverstone and quicksilver), but with a gray tinted clearcoat. That would give you a neutral light shade slightly lighter than what you have now, but with lots of shade change in hard light (lighter on areas perpendicular to the viewing angle while darker on the areas closer to parallel to the viewing angle). Kinda like a candy paint.

I did this on an older (very curvy) Jag last year, and it looked so damned good it's not even funny.

deep sea green. and paint some mermaids(or mermen, whichever is your preference) on the side of it. it is your race car correct? let distraction be your ally.

<sigh> not gonna paint it a stock color. And i'm afraid that if i paint it pink, 94T will try to steal it.

I may just paint it back the same color grey that it is now, maybe play around with some sort of pearl coat on it this time.
