is it the texture scrapes off or it comes off down the the original

or primered surface?



If its just the texture put some semi gloss or flat clear coat on it.

If its coming off compleatly then take the previous advice.

 

I primed and sanded it. Don't know if it'll come right off... just looks like it. I'll see later when I get home. I used the same products and steps JaySpec7 did.



If it comes right off I'll melt all the **** down and duct-tape the gauges to the dash and delete A/C, hazards, dimmer... you name it LOL...j/k



I thought I was going the cheaper route... By the time this is all over with I could have 3 FD's.

 

maybe your just getting nervous and it will hold up.

I would try scraping it a bit with your finger, if it comes off easily

then I would re-do it.

I agree with Rob, your good results as far as adhesion go will all be dependent on the prep work. ie primer/flex additive if applicable.

 

Yeah, definately. I checked them today and they are real tuff. I DO need to put a TINY bit of gloss to them. They look like grip-tape for skateboards... LOL
