Can we all just get ******' real for a second. The FD pulls very close to 1G on the pad, and it does that with a stiff chassis and rigid body. Drop some T-Tops or Targa crap into it and it'll lose all the rigidy and stiffness. No roof, no performace = MUSTANG. Sorry, the only way I'd loose all that roof space is by making it a true vert, that way I can at least justify what I did.

you would have to reinforce around the cut out areas to keep the body right. I dont think i would do any of that though. I got a vert which doubles as a targa and i think a sunroof would be better.

Mazda told me the reason they stopped making the FDs with sunroofs is due to the weakining of

the car.



I just miss my T-tops and wish it was possible within reason.......DREAMIN.....................

I wouldn't think alot of performance would be lost due to the sunroof.. but, I'm kinda glad I don't have one just incase it does play a big part of it..
