You can also get a mobile scanner for under the radio if you wanted.

I find it easier to opey speed limits, once I got a ticket that cost me $275 thank god it was in South Carolina and it didnt go on my NYS drivers license, I had the Escort at the time, but its pretty useless when you are one of very few cars on the road ( which seems like the ideal time to speed ) and the cop uses instant on radar. The radar detector worked alright, it lit up like a damm christmas tree along with the troopers lights in the bushes.

its easier to follow the speed laws when you have a good warning

Kojac was police show and kodak was old cb slang for radar.
