where to apply the compound.. directly at the metal or buffer..

is there any difference..

Just run it under the buffing wheel while it is spinning.

You can use water in a mist bottle to help get the swirls down when you get to the green or white rouge steps.

and frequency.. basically how do you know when to reapply ..

I have had good luck with Jewler's Rouge (liquid form, green colour). I just put the sauce wherever is easiest on that particular part. Obviously, if you are using the sticks you can just take the buffing wheel and hit the stick before you work on the part.

Jewlers rouge gums up and really doesn't shine up that well.

No offence but I have used just about every product under the sun for polishing. If you are insitant on using something in a tube you wanna stick to the semichrome. Your not gonna find a better product.



Amp, you re-apply the white or green rouge about every min or so to the buffing wheel. Just hold it to the wheel and get enough for a dozen passes or so. It really doesnt matter once you get your rythm down its will come naturally,
