I have seen the same guys work for about 8 years now, he is incredible, true not all of them are great. But like anything else, when thats all you do all day, everyday, you get very good at it. The cars I have seen him do are invisible. Only one that was barely noticable was on a brand new Cabrio and it was dented right at the body line, but even then the job came out amazing and it took him about 10 minutes. He charged the shop $60 or so, and they in turn charge the customer about $120, thats good money for 10 minutes worth of someone elses work and no materials. And the girl got her car back during her lunchbreak having dropped it off at 9am. The guy is at his shop 2-3 times a week and does more then one car at a time. These people are usually well established customers who take care of thier cars and if they get a little ding in thier door they get it taken care of right away.

Its sort of like pinstripping, dont you have a guy that comes there and stripes? Guy who came to my shop was in and out in couple of minutes, charged me $45 and I charged $90, cant argue there.

Only time they drill out a piece is if they cant get to it from behind easily, again with the right tools and technique I have never seen him do it but have heard of people doing it. I still say on a car with original paint thats older, it would still be a shame to paint a panel or a side of the car to blend it if it can be removed with PDR.

I would hope that people with some huge dent in thier car or with broken paint know better then to think PDR will remove it

I had a door ding taken out by one of those companies once. I was impressed. I should say that my father owned a custom rod shop for 12 years and I am a restorer by trade so I am not easyto please.

They didn't buff out the sand spot they made all the way but I didn't say much because they got the panel smoothed out and I knew I could buff it myself. But he only charged my $65 and it was money well spent IMO.

Its the best way to remove the dings. I had over ten dings on my FD when I bought it . Heres a link to the shop in VA that did mine . Very good service and excellent prices. I had a estimate at Dent wizzards for 400 dollars. Ding depot did the entire car for 150 dollars .
