The previous owner of my car thought it would be a good idea to spray paint some of the interior peices red (light blue interior) and it is very tacky and want to get the paint off. So far all i've tried is my finger but I need to know a safe alternative that wont eat plastic. Thnx

There's a product called multi-strip, It's not the usual solvent based, caustic stuff that body shops and paint stores have been selling. It has low odor, cleans up with water and can strip paint like no other. I've used this product on several occasions and it's tuff to beat... latex, oil, urethane, don't stand a chance, just make sure you don't let the stripper dry completly.
