Oooookay.. yeah, the biggest piece of advice I could give is to measure the seat bottom width, and be careful, not all seats are narrow enough to fit in the FD cockpit.

Get suede seats baby!!! Yo got the bling of the leather without the lack of friction or hot/cold issue.

according to this you shouldn't have a problem because mostly everything will already be out... :

loooooooool the ening is at hurly geting rebuild to perform at 290 bhp with the standard fittings and remember i have a gready turbo conversion. the gr8 thign about the econy the now is u get 1.9 dollars to the pound insted of the normal 1.6 so buying stuf fromu guys is sooooo cheap at the moment cobaru seats were coting me 700 each over in uk but when i serched about bit i got them for $600 how cool is that

either way, it would make your car look a whole lot better if you painted the engine bay... instead of buying seats for it. The stock seats are actually quite comfortable in my opinion, and a "solid/complete" paint job would increase a cars value more than 2 seats.

you could even just paint the engine bay flat black so it will match any other paint job you decide to get.

maybe, but it'll sure look better than blue and whatever the other color was that was under his hood.. i think a complete looking car is better than a couple of recaro seats.
