hmmm, maybe with a test light you can figure out which wire triggers it

and disconnect it?

hey, mike. is this radio from a 97 miata?? i was looking at it since it looks like its silver and would match the FBs console. do you know anything about it??

yeah thats from a 93-95? miata, it should fit an fb, you are on your own to wire it up though

he could get a aftermarket wiring kit for the Miata radio, then using the kit he can figure out how to wire up the stock radio. I dont know if the Miata radio has a built in amp or not.

There are plenty of silver faced radios out there now as well.

yeah that one was the top of the line miata radio, so it might not have an amp in it. www.miata.net i think has the pin outs for the connector

I spotted a unit identical to yours selling on Ebay (from Canada).



This unit is also offered with a harness.



Did you use this splice-in harness or did the connectors in the car simply hookup?

What did you use to fill the gaps. I'm doing the same thing but the unit is too small for the opening.
