All right, so I have a 1993 RX7 as can be seen here;

I have already taken care of reliability and performance mods for the time being, and now I want to focus on a new paint job and possible body modifications.

My plan right now is to order the C-West Complete Replica aero kit and have that installed - though for a while, I had my heart set on the Veilside C1 kit. Eventually I decided the front bumper on the C1 was overdone and that the rear skirts look sort of awful from behind/profile view.

Anyway, the point of this post is to ask you gentlemen for your opinion on the C-West body kit (replica) and Veilside C1 kit, AND if you think Black or Gun Metal would look better for the color. Also, I plan to purchase Konig Absolute in Graphite wheels, and I already know they look GREAT with a black RX7 as my friend had that setup for a while. Thanks for your opinions.

Hmm, the C-West kit is OLD as HELL, and I HATE it. But that's my opinion, now to the C1 Veilside kit. If you do decide to buy it, I WILL kill you. Okay, maybe I won't, but hear me out please.

Color: Gun Metal Gray would look great on the FD.

Body Kit: C-West is too common now a days, and Veilside's C1 is far to ugly. If you're gonna go with a Veilside kit, go with the C2 because it's smoother and longer in the front. I think it has a lot of potential with the right colored (i.e. Gun Metal Gray) car. But, if you go with either, have the TOTALY MOLDED INTO the BODY.

Wheels: I'm not a big fan of Konig, but whatever floats your boat.

Whee's are a difficult choice for everyone who decides it's time to buy some. When buying, make sure you get something with a fat lip since that looks amazing and really complements an FD. Lipless wheels are okay too but make sure they're nice ones unlike the Konig Tantrums. The only lipless wheels that do look good are the ones that cave in on the center kinda like the ones I posted below.

But whatever you decide to do, good luck with your choices and remember, nobody has to like it but you.

WOW, I can be nice to people who do their IMPORTANT MODS FIRST.

But yeah, everything needs to be molded in so it doesn't look tacked on...

Hmmm, thanks for the advice so far.

So do you hate the C-West kit just because it's "common?"

I'm REALLY not the sort of person that is worried about being labelled this and that, I will pick whatever I think suits my style.

I personally really like the C-West front bumper, especially when combined with a sleek headlight kit. But hey, that's just me.

So what body kits WOULD you recommend?

As far as the wheels go, yea I hear ya. What would you guys recommend for tires also? I was looking at some Bridgestone Potenza S-03 PP tires.... anyone had a good experience with them?

Gun Metal Grey rules, yes.

save your paint...... get all the carbonfiber under body panel stuff that rotaryextreme makes..... front lip(after i send him mine), side skirts, and rear difusers. your car will look hot as hell wihtout needing a bodykit that will make your beautiful car look like a space ship.

plus..... gunmetal or black rims always look great with carbon fiber.....

if you wanna wait a couple of weeks ill post pictures of mine
