get a scotche brand ( spelling? ) wiring adaptor, stores like radio shack and

car stereo stores sell them, it plugs into your factory harness and has all the wires labeled for ease of installation, for the price of them, about $20 or so, its well worth it because you wont have to cut a single wire in your harness. If you werent going to use the factory amps it would be a different story.

Yeah i saw those things a little to late i already had snipped the wire. But the good thing is it was only one wire. this radio only needs the power from the ignition switch. So im all good now, factory service manual saved my *** lol. I got to wait to run the thing till i get an amp though i looked at the manual and the plugs for the amps are weird and not worth the truoble of wiring them up.

I work at a stereo store im at home now but as wiring your car up with an aftermarcet stereo you need to rewire the speakers around the amp...Its not good to use to amps in line like that what will happen is the factory amp will poop out from load and you will be with no radio at all again.. Or worse case you ll pop the radio also and you will be buying another......So just rewire around the amp......

I had planned on rewiring around the amps soon. I do know stereo stuff and knew it wasnt a good idea i just had no other choice at the time. I will have a new amp coming soon though.
