looks fine. although i'm used to seeing a vented cf hood on a 3rd gen instead of a stock hood.

yeah, i thought about getting a vented hood, but most dont come with rain block off plates and it sure does rain alot down here in houston. and i dont want my intake sucking up water plus this one was cheap

Just curious as to who makes a stock carbon fiber hood? Do you know who the manufacturer? Or who sells it? I myself already have a replica mazdaspeed in fiberglass and one in carbon fiber, but just curious as to who made yours? Thinking about selling the fiberglass one though.

VIS makes the hood that bought, its full carbon fiber, with the exception of the frame of the hood. Its very good quality and pretty thick. All in all, very well made hood
