i was wondering has anyone ever attempted to mod a new miata dash/console into a rx7 2 gen?



wondering cus i can get ahold of a complete dash + console out of a 00 miata but have not really got in dept to the length,width of it to see it few cuts here and addons if it would fit snug into a 2 gen.



if anyone has attempted to do this plz reply with help/information.



reason why i'm asking my dash is cracked very badly and the miata dash looks very nice.

 

im sure it could be made to fit.. just depends how good of a fabricator you are.. people have put FD and other types of dashes in theirs FCs so i dont see it as a bad idea.. not practical unless you are replacing a bad dash.. so perfect for you..

 

its very close, its about an 1" off in every direction
