Scott 89t2, did all the S5s come with that cover for the back? Or maybe mine doesn't have it because it's a 2+2. I sure could use one though.

The sony amp and subs suck. Like i said before i got them just to replace the factory speakers in the back cause they sucked balls. Nah ima get the rockford amp and the solo barick L7 subs and put 3 1/2'' kickers 2 way speakers under the dash. I got a sony reciever and it sucks but matches my car lol. But hey its better than listening to tapes now i can pop in my cds and enjoy lol. Good loookingout though.. i love the sony xplod flat panel cd recievers

i had one and then it got stolen.

i loved it though.

no buttons sticking out and no stupid shiny plastic pieces everywhere

for amps I recomend Zapco, but they are spendy.. They rock real nice.. My bro as a Zapco Z300c2 that I sold him in his Land cruiser with 2 12' L7's and they rock real nice..

Here is a suggestion, don't use the 3 1/2 location for speakers, it will ruin your image & sound stage. In stead, put a 6 1/2 componets in the door, with the tweeter as low as possible (or far away from your ears as possible, but allways in front of you). If you do this, you won't even need "rear speakers", trust me!!

You can either choose "looks" vs "Utility" or both. Ofcourse "BOTH" is hella expensive!!

Zapco is a very good brand, PPI, Autotek, Hi Fonics, Rockford, hell even MTX is a good brand. Watch for the new DEI amp series (also known as Viper), and Memphis (known before as Fultron) are coming in with some nice car audio stuff for the budgetet customer.

Should sound good. those L7's will hit.
