I like the Solo-Baric Kicker L7 Series they pump 600 watts RMS (continous power) and they max out at 1200watts. Theyre the hottest component subs on the market right now. Rockford Fosgates also top for Amps in my opinon and i look at there record.

This is the Rockford Fosgate that will soon be pumping my seven. The Solo-Baric Kicker L7 cost $399.99 and the RockFord Power 550s amp cost $399.99 on Crutchfield.com im getting both from Canal Street in china town for $400.00 for both. I got a Sony cdlx600 Receiver and 6 1/2'' sony xplods 3-way speakers in the back. Gonna move those to the front door and put the new sony 6 1/2'' in the hatch.

well if your going for crazy i have 2 solo square l7 15's powered by the great matts 1200, this system is ****** crazy, only have it in my car at certain times, i also have it for sale if anybody is interested

I've got a Rockford RFX9300 MP3/CD Deck with new kenwoods all around, and the best sounding 10" Kicker Comp VR I've ever heard. Then again, I am pushing it with a Sony Xplod 1000 Watt amp. :smirk:

Nah ima get the rockford amp and the solo barick L7 subs and put 3 1/2'' kickers 2 way speakers under the dash. I got a sony reciever and it sucks but matches my car lol. But hey its better than listening to tapes now i can pop in my cds and enjoy lol. Good loookingout though.. i had one and then it got stolen.

i loved it though.

no buttons sticking out and no stupid shiny plastic pieces everywhere

for amps I recomend Zapco, but they are spendy.. They rock real nice.. My bro as a Zapco Z300c2 that I sold him in his Land cruiser with 2 12' L7's and they rock real nice..

Here is a suggestion, don't use the 3 1/2 location for speakers, it will ruin your image & sound stage. In stead, put a 6 1/2 componets in the door, with the tweeter as low as possible (or far away from your ears as possible, but allways in front of you). If you do this, you won't even need "rear speakers", trust me!!

You can either choose "looks" vs "Utility" or both. Ofcourse "BOTH" is hella expensive!!

Zapco is a very good brand, PPI, Autotek, Hi Fonics, Rockford, hell even MTX is a good brand. Watch for the new DEI amp series (also known as Viper), and Memphis (known before as Fultron) are coming in with some nice car audio stuff for the budgetet customer.

Should sound good. those L7's will hit.

Zapco Dealers are hard to find.. They are easier to get on the Net but that is always risky business. I used to power 3 12" JL w6 subs with a Zapco Z100c2 amp, this amp is only rated at 100watts.. I hooked it up at 1 ohm and it rocked the living hell out of the JLs

Just remember that low impedance amps are not the ones that prodeuce the highest quality of sound. You'll be fine with the rockford.......

Yeah for bass , low impedance is okay.. But for your components its better to use 4 ohms or even 8 if you can.. but thats is usually for home audio..

The JLs are tight. How much do there 10" subs pump. The solo-barick provide such a lone bass tune its like your deaf and ****. Put two of em and it was mad tight.. IN chinatown u can get the L7 and rockford amp both for $400.00 the L7 cost $299.99 lol iight thanks for the feedback. thier 10" handles 1500 watts then you void the warranty.

Thier 13 handles 4000 ( ! ) watts and they you void the warranty.



So who knows how much they can handle before you blow them up, lol.

Eclipse Amp, Nak HU, and a JL subwoofer would be a good combo.
