he parked on a hill and didnt put his parking break on enough. He wasnt doing a handbrake drift or anything

Yeah, not the cool kind of drifting, heh. Only time I've done something even close to that is last time it snowed, in a big parking lot, at 20 mph



Cheap and a one-month timeframe sounds about like what my finances need--I still don't even have any of the recommended reliability mods, so I may even hold off on installing the bumper for a while longer than that.



The shop I got an estimate from said $1200, with a 10 or 20% discount if I wasn't using insurance.

$1000 deductible. So even if I couldn't get a used bumper from someone, it's a wash.



Wish it was an SUV I'd run into so just the hood got done in, then I could get a nice vented one... Bah. So it goes.
