I've gone through about 5 pairs already and all of them sucked.
who made them, I got them from a "tuner" shop, one that sells
rims, stereos, clear lights, **** like that. They have some nice
super whites, and in a place like that you can ask the guy if you dont like
them will they take them back- you can try them right in the parkinglot.

A properly set up set of halogens will be better than HIDs
Uuuuhhh... m'okay. A properly set up HID system will destroy a properly set up halogen system.
H4 is a reference to the bulb type. It identifies the base and bulb shape. This is important because some bulbs have bases which are interchangeable, but their focal points are totally different. The FD uses an H4 bulb but I believe the 9003 bulb is also compatible.
What is the current draw on those bulbs? A risk of running higher wattage bulbs is that they draw more current and therefore heat your wiring up more. Watch for melted wires, I'm not sure what the FD stock wiring is rated to.
I would recommend either the Sylvania Silverstars or the Osram silverstars. The Osram and Sylvania bulbs are virtually identical. The Sylvanias have a tint on the glass which gives it a whiter color. However, the Osram is brighter since it does not have tint on the glass.
Those bulbs look like they've got some blue tint, I'm hard-pressed to believe that the light output on those is better than the Osram Silverstars.
