I thought about that while I was installing it... I don't think it would mess it up.. it might discolorate the carbon fiber... but i'm goin to find out from other owners...

I would be very interested to hear it's effect on high speed stability. Got any long empty highways nearby with some high speed corners?



How much did it cost, and where did you get it?

seems like its only touching the can not the tip so you may be ok as far as heat is concerned
