Not to interfere with your sale but I have covered both Dave’s and the real boarder pods in carbonfiber. The boarder pod is the thinnest piece of fiberglass I have ever seen. Gel coat is so thin when I scuffed it for better adhesion I went right through the gel coat. I can't say how Dave’s fit, because I only covered them in carbon, never installed one, but I can tell you the fiberglass work is much better. I guess there is a chance the boarder pod I covered was a copy but the guy though/said it was original.
