Ok, lol. Not reallt a matter of lighting, more a matter of combining projects - my headlight covers need to be repainted anyway, so I was thinking of just getting non-flippers

The stock headlights look terrible when they're up.

Those ones aren't too bad, they kind of stick up above the profile of the fender - hood - bumper so I'd have to see them in person before I decided I liked them.

[quote name='Il RX8 lI' date='Jun 14 2005, 02:10 PM']Yeah, that's all I did and now they're just fine. The original ones were pretty weak though.

Haha, actually came with the car because the previous owner didn't bother installing them.

They shouldn't be hard to find, Just look out for xenon or halogen - no need for new lenses at all, they have next to no impact on the brightness.

Now that you explain it more, it would be a cool thing to do. I never liked them on FD's honestly. They look good on FC and FB's. Of course we know why that is, because FC's and FB's are ugly.

[quote name='Sinful7' date='Jun 14 2005, 01:16 PM']I've long considered the sleek look, but I like the fact that everything on my car can be reverted to stock. Sleek lights involve cutting the rails and I'm not sure I'm on board with that yet.. I do need a headlight cover (to be painted), so in essence, going to sleek lights would just at several hundred dollars to an otherwise relatively inexpensive fix.

I dunno even why I'm thinking these.. it's not like I have money to spend.. I love credit, though.

didnt require me to cut anything to install the C-West headlight kit

i dont like the kits that arent flush with the body, it ***** up the lines.

like sure they might look nice in a front shot, but from the cockpit or a side angle the car looks like it has pimples.
