I made that hood last week. It's pretty good, functional as well. It took me 6 hours to cut those peeces out and another 30 min or so to put the mesh grill. I Like the way it looks on my Montego blue fd, but i'm just kind of thinking if it would be better to paint that mesh gril black or something. It's too flashy now.

that hood is indeed bomex, but does anyone know a way to get ahold of it? bomex does not seem to offer it anywhere

I will take some pics tomorrow of the whole car. I also tinted my front and side lights. I mean they were tinted before, but not as dark as now. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Why pay shitload of $ for it when you can make your own. Yeah it took me 6 hours to do it and i spent 11 bucks . But it was well worth it. I don't care much about TFTF but i like the way it looks, plus when i sit in traffic I can see heat coming out the wents.

Thats true but when your driving it isnt venting like the scoot hood does.

Anyway, I believe its custom from Bomex, but I could be wrong.

are you worried about rain? I'm not sure if I fancy my FD in a rain storm when I'm at a stop light and my boost solenoid burns out...or something "expensive".
