Cf Panel In The Glovebox
Well I wanted a place to mount my en route ProfecB, my turbo timer, and the selector switch for my Racelogic Traction Control.. And I didn't want 'em permenantly mounted, ghetto rigged, or cluttering up the interior. So I decided to order some CF sheet, cut it to fit the glovebox, and mount away! Took the better part of 12 hours, stretched out over 6 months, and two tries. Here's the final product.
Note: It's missing a few simple toggle switches for neon, NOS, etc.
(the red tape in the pic is just some mounting tape backing, so I can peel the adhered turbo time back off and play with the mounting. The Profec head unit is countersunk, and the TC selector is rear mounted.)

Yeah, actually the CF panel is sculpted to fit the contour of the door interior. It's mounted using custom built (lol) sheet metal 'L' and 'U' brackets, and secured with industrial velcro. Amazingly, the glovebox still closes. The only thing I lost is the light, which caused significant interference with the upper-left of the CF panel.
