Cd Player

As you can see by the picture there is a significant gap in my dash where the stock radio used to be after i put in the CD deck. I was wondering what everybody else puts there or if you know of some things that fill that hole....I just get tired of seing it like that everyday.

If you are going to be throwing a cd player in there, they make kits to were it is flush and no visible light or cracks are seen.
If no cd player is being throw in you can get a piece of black plastic somewheres, no matter what size, size it up to the hole in there, cut it out, and go with that. The stereo surround plastic should be able to hold it in there nice and tight.

Holy ****, I am an idiot, I just realized on your picture you already had a cd player in there. My mistake. Go with the piece of plastic cut out, or the best buy thing.

thats fine, but you will have to figure a way to mount it to the dash, im not a fan of visable screws thru the front, there isnt a place
to screw to behind there anyhow unless you end up screwing to the
factory mounts or just give it the ole' screws thru anything method

There are screw holes in the back of the stereo surround in the 86-88 and the 89-92, but you have to use short screws w/ a large shank to get a bite on the plastic housing, the are three down each side and two at the top and bottom, I'ts kinda hard to see but the finished product is in this pic
around with thier stereo mounted like that then I cant see
them figuring out how to mount the panel correctly
