Carbon Fiber Idiot Light Surround?
#2
Just take it out, clean it with some soap and water and let dry, then take some Rustoleum 'Black Night Metallic' spray paint and do six or seven light coats of it. Because the plastic is perfectly smooth, it makes it niiiiiice and glossy. Then, if you want to protect it from chipping or scratching, take the Rustoleum Clear Acrylic and do three to four thin coats of that stuff. Let it dry a few days and put it back in. Looks kick ***.
Oh, and if you're going to paint your gauge cluster surrounds, and want the same finish as the idiot light surround, you'd better get sanding until it's baby bottom smooth!
Good luck, and welcome to the forums.

I have the one made by SpeedMachinePerformance. They no longer make these Carbon Fiber parts. It is for sale, as I no longer need it. I have test fit it on the car, and that is it. It's in Brand New Shape.
PM me if you are interested.
